2019 Reflections:⠀

What the f**k it’s NYE? I’m not kidding when I say I’ve just looked at the date and thought JC 2020 is upon us. ⠀
⠀
I’ve been on a solid vacation enjoying life and being sleep deprived from all the family gatherings (can anyone else relate? 🤚🏽🧐)⠀
⠀
What an amazing year it’s been for growth, opportunities and learning. ⠀
⠀
I’ve worked hard toward all my goals have laughed cried and celebrated. I’ve supported births, I’ve helped nourish, educate and support several families and have launched @lvltco!⠀

I’ve learned that when you show up for yourself everyday you set yourself up to succeed even when at times you don’t believe in yourself. ⠀

OWNING every bit of 2019 and beyond excited for new projects this 2020. ⠀
⠀

PSA: Don’t discourage those that set a plan, resolution or goals for the new year. Ain’t nothing wrong with a vision board, goal setting and working towards dreams, goals and personal growth whether it’s at the beginning of a new year or however you decide to start. ✨⠀

In its true form it’s acceptance. But it also means showing up for yourself during pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond. ⠀

So if you’re a parent that could mean little sleep and an early morning the next day, I mean you can’t snooze the kids (I’ve tried). ⠀

If this is the case your kids are at you full charge in the a.m. which means you’re tired and if not hungover you have a pesky headache from the few drinks you did have (well done! You self-cared). ⠀

I’m insanely blown away by all the different ways women are supporting women. ⠀
⠀
So much gratitude/admiration/love for all the trail blazers making a difference in our city. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many strong women entrepreneurs in the past year and many of them are mothers... BAD ASS mothers. ⠀

We gifted this handbook to a mama (along with a few other favourites) as part of a giveaway at a pop up market for @lvltco. ⠀

It’s fucking hilarious peppered with where the hell was this when I was pregnant?⠀
⠀

Anyone else thinking about a VACATION right about now?⠀

I think I’ve had about 3 different conversations in the past week with mothers about wanting a vacation sans partner and kids. ⠀

Just a break from the standard routine one where there’s no worrying about menial tasks or anyone but yourself. ⠀

NO!...it’s not selfish. You need to refill that cup. But I get it, we all can’t pickup and leave now can we? 🤔 or can we?⠀
