Birth Support
Owning your birth can be a gamut of things. Mainly it is owning where you are, understanding that all pregnancies and births are different. And ultimately it is educating yourself so that you can make the most informed decisions during pregnancy birth and beyond.
Learn what health care options you have, what routine procedures are optional, what common birth interventions are, and have constant support for you, and your family.
Our Birth Doula support services include:
• 2 in-home prenatal consultations
• on-call service 24/7 for the 3 weeks before your due date and 2 weeks after.
• Assistance in curating a birth plan
• Day-of labour support
• 1 in-home visit after baby arrives.

Postpartum Care
Many new mothers feel isolated, overwhelmed and exhausted after birth and while transitioning into life as a parent.
At Own Your Birth, we cultivate wellness of mind, body and spirit on your journey into motherhood.
Postpartum services are individually tailored to meet the unique needs of each family. We will work together to curate the support and focus you need depending on the priorities requested or needed by your family.

Reiki
Reiki is an ancient Japanese holistic healing system that uses energy to help balance the body and mind.
Reiki will help you relax, restore and find balance, boost your immune system, and increase your energy.
Reiki can restore balance to the body but its greatest healing health benefits are:

• Aids in better sleep
• Improves and maintains health.
• Balances the mind and emotions.
• Helps you to tune into yourself.
Yoga
Yoga can help alleviate many of the common physical discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, back pain, swelling, fatigue, constipation, sciatica and leg cramps. Additionally, yoga can help clear your mind and remove a lot of mental blocks you may have surrounding your pregnancy or upcoming birth.
During pregnancy, yoga can help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation and revitalize the internal organs. Yoga will help prepare you for the birth of your child by strengthening and stretching the pelvic muscles and assist you in owning your breath.
